Sylvia’s interest in all things swimming started as a young girl. She was a competitive swimmer in the Bellevue area, joining teams at the Eastside YMCA and then Bellevue Swim Club.  Sylvia has over 40 years’ experience in the swimwear business and can’t imagine doing anything else. To Sylvia, there is nothing more satisfying than finding a swimsuit that makes someone feel comfortable and confident.

In her spare time, Sylvia volunteers for Alaskan Malamute rescue and loves spending time with her own Malamutes exploring Washington trails and beaches.

Store Manager, Social Media Extraordinaire

Ceirra found Sylvia's when looking for a job while on summer break from Washington State University (go cougs!). She quickly learned the retail ropes and is such a great addition to our team!

In her spare time, Ceirra loves quick trips to new places with her friends. Her last trip took her on a road trip to Montana to experience Big Sky Country for the first time.

Resident TikTok Genius

In between classes she finds herself at the store helping wherever she can. She is the newest addition to Sylvia's and we are so lucky to have her warm personality and positive attitude in the store. As our resident Gen Z, she is our cool navigator to keep us all update in the latest and greatest trends.

Music and Megan are a match made in heaven! Between working and studying, Megan is a lover of live music and discovering new artists. IF youre in a music rut, ask Megan for some recomendations and we're sure she can lead you in the right direction.

In-House Web Designer

Jayna started working at Sylvia's to learn some sales skills and to understand what makes a small business successful and impactful. She recently graduated from a master's program in Information Management from UW. She's able to channel her expertise in business and technology by overseeing the revamp of our website.

In her time off she loves to cook, spend time with friends and travel internationally. If you're going on a trip, let her know because she loves to exchange travel tips!

Special Events, Admin

Layla joined the team with 10+ years experience in the
swimwear industry. Providing innovative swimwear designs and a positive client experience is at the forefront of her passion at Sylvia’s Sport and Resort. Coordinating special events that support our client’s vision of a unique and fun sales experience is her goal. Whether it’s a private sales event or a trunk show, she is ready to handle it all, going above and beyond with each detail.

Her passion outside of work is volunteering in the PTSA
board at her son’s school. Equally important as a Mom, is taking time to reset with yoga for meditation and health, traveling to take in some sun, and feeding
her foodie soul with the culinary arts.
